Christmas is over and I have to say this year I got something special, not that I haven't got anything special to christmas so far, but that was really special: my first Japanese money. A 1000 Yen bill. And cash is important in the country of the rising sun. As far as I know there are many places where you can only pay cash. But I am not sure about that.

Weihnachten ist vorbei und ich muss sagen: "Dieses Jahr habe ich etwas Besonderes bekommen." Nicht das ich zu vor noch nie etwas Besonderes zu weihnachten bekommen habe, aber dieses Jahr war es etwas ganz besonderes: Mein erstes Japanisches Geld. Ein 1000 Yen-Schein. Und Bargeld ist wichtig im Land der aufgehenden Sonne. Soweit ich weiß gibt es dort jede Menge Geschäfte und Läden, wo man nur bar bezahlen kann. Aber ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher.
