Hi everyone. I am back. Well, actually there was just nothing really happening. But now it is. I will go to Omaezaki in Shizuoka prefecture on October 1. I will take the shinkansen to get there. There I will stay at a families' house and help them out with some work they have. It is really close to the ocean. Well, you will see when I post pictures or something like that.

So now I and you have something, which we can look forward to...^^

Hallo alle zusammen. Ich bin zurück. Naja, eigentlich ist einfach nichts Interessantes passiert. Aber jetzt passiert etwas. Ich werde am ersten Oktober nach Omaezaki in der Shizuoka-Präfektur fahren. Das werde ich mit dem shinkansen tun. Dort werde ich bei einer Familie wohnen, der ich bei etwas Arbeit helfe, die sie hat. Es ist richtitg nah am Meer. Aber das werdet ihr ja sehen, wenn ich Fotos oder so poste.

Also habt ihr und ich jetzt etwas worauf wir uns freuen können...^^

So today I went and picked up my Alien Registration Card. So now I am officially allowed to work and considered reseident.

Moreover I went to Shibuya today to take a picture of the Hachiko statue at Shibuya Station for my little sister. Moreover I saw something like a Hachiko wall. But it was too big to take a picture of so I filmed it. I also tried to film one of those crazy crossings, where it seems that the whole street is only made up of people. But sadly I didn't find a high spot, from where I could film it, without having to go into one of the shops and so I would always have some glass in front of me. So I just filmed it, when I walked over a side street trying to get the big crossing into frame. Pictures and clips below.

Also heute habe ich meine "Alien Registration Card" abgeholt. Jetzt darf ich offiziell arbeiten und werde als Einwohner angesehen.

Außerdem bin ich heute nach Shibuya gefahren, um ein Foto von der Hachiko-Statue bei Shibuya Station für meine kleine Schwester zu schießen. Außerdem habe ich eine Art Hachikowand gesehen. Aber die war zu groß, um davon ein Foto zu machen, darum habe ich sie gefilmt. Ich habe auch versucht eine dieser verrückten Kreuzungen zu filmen, wo es so aussieht als würde die ganze Straße nur aus Menschen bestehen. Aber leider habe ich keinen hohen Punkt gefunden, von wo aus ich diese hätte filmen können, ohne in einen Laden hinein zu müssen und dann hätte ich immer irgendein Glas vor mir. Also habe ich es einfach gefilmt, während ich über eine Seitenstraße gegangen bin und versucht habe die große Kreuzung zu filmen.

So, time has come. Tomorrow I have my first job interview in Japan. For what? For a job as an English instructor for kids, teenager and adults. I even know a guest house close by, so that I would have a place to stay, too. I hope it will work out. You'll be first to get to know...^^

So, die Zeit ist gekommen. Morgen habe ich mein erstes Vorstellungsgespräch in Japan. Für was? Für einen Job als Englischlehrer für Kinder, Jugendlich und Eltern. Ich kenne sogar ein "guest house" in der Nähe, so dass ich auch einen Platz zum Schlafen hätte. Ich hoffe, dass es was wird. Ihr werdet es als erstes erfahren...^^

Did someone of you ever heard about coconut-banana-juice/milk? Well, I sure didn't until I saw it in a groceries store. Doesn't taste too bad. At least when you like banana and coconut...^^

Hat einer von euch schon einmal etwas von Kokosnussbananensaft/milch gehört? Also, ich noch nicht bis ich es in einem Supermarkt gesehen habe. Schmeckt gar nicht mal schlecht. Zumindest wenn man Banane und Kokosnuss mag...^^

I just bought me a pre-paid cell phone. Another essential part in the searh for a job, since potential employers need to be able to contact the applicant. They only had one kind of phone left in stock, a Samsung 730 SC in white, for about 2000 Yen. If you want to see how it looks, just google the name.

Ich habe mir gerade ein Pre-paid Handy gekauft. Ein weiterer notwendiger Teil für die Jobsuche, da mögliche Arbeitgeber in der Lage sein müssen den Bewerber zu kontaktieren. Es gab nur noch ein Model im Lager, ein Samsung 730 SC in weiß, für etwa 2000 Yen. Wenn ihr sehen wollt wie es aussieht, dann müsst ihr einfach nur den Namen googlen.

What a day. The first time that it rains, while I am in Japan. Therefore it is raining the whole day and not only a bit. Probably has to do with the typhoon, which is hitting Japan.

And then I had to get outside today, so that I could get to the organizaition, which helps me to find a job. I was pretty dry, when I got to the organization, but on my way back I got soaked as did my bag. I am dry again by now, but my bag is still a bit wet. It is just not made for being outside in the rain. 

Oh yeah, yesterday I applied for the "Certificate of Alien Registration", which every foreigner needs to work in Japan and if he stays longer than 90 days. Since I want to do both, it is a necessity. Moreover I took a few pictures yesterday, too. I will post those below.

Was für ein Tag. Das erste Mal, dass es regnet, seitdem ich in Japan bin. Dafür regnet es schon den ganzen Tag und nicht gerade wenig. Das hat wahrscheinlich mit dem Taifun zu tun, der Japan trifft.

Und dann musste ich heute auch noch raus, um zu der Organisation zu kommen, die mir hilft einen Job zu finden. Ich war ziemlich trocken als ich bei der Organisation angekommen bin, aber auf meinem Rückweg war ich durchnässt, genauso wie mein Rucksack. Ich bin jetzt schon wieder trocken, aber mein Rucksack ist immer noch etwas nass. Er ist einfach nicht für Regen gemacht.

Ach ja, gestern habe ich mich für das "Certificate of Alien Registration" angemeldet, welches jeder Ausländer braucht, der in Japan arbeiten oder länger als 90 Tage bleiben möchte. Da ich beides möchte, ist es eine Notwendigkeit. Außerdem habe ich gestern auch ein paar Fotos geschossen. Ich poste sie unten.

開田高原

Didn't much happen during the last days. But today we, a friend and myself, went to Kaida Kougen, a kind of nature park, maybe even national park. There we enjoyed the good weather. It was actually not as humid as it is in the cities. 

After some time in the nature we went to a soba restaurant, where we ate yakisoba and some other kind, I can't remember the name. It was really good, considering that the soba dough is made of some kind of flower.

Moreover I've seen four Porsche on the lot of the restaurant, which I thought was pretty interesting to see in Japan.

On our way back we went to a shop with a lot of nice sweets. There I had some soft ice cream. As you can see it was a day of delights.

I think that was it so far. Hope there will be some more interesting stuff happening soon...^^

In den letzten Tagen ist nicht viel passiert. Aber heute fuhren wir, eine Freundin und ich, nach Kaida Kougen, eine Art Naturpark, vielleicht sogar Nationalpark. Dort haben wir das schöne Wetter genossen. Es war sogar nicht so schwül wie es in den Städten ist.

Nach einiger Zeit in der Natur sind wir dann in ein Soba-Restaurant gegangen, wo wir Yakisoba und eine andere Art Soba gegessen haben, ich kann mich nicht mehr an den Namen erinnern. Es war wirklich lecker, wenn man darandenkt, dass der Soba-Teig aus einer Art Blume gemacht wird.

Außerdem habe ich vier Porsche vor dem Restaurant gesehen, was ich ziemlich interessant fand, diese in Japan zu sehen.

Auf dem Heimweg sind wir noch bei einem Geschäft mit jeder Menge Leckereien gewesen. Dort hatte ich dann ein Softeis. Wie man sehen kann war es ein Tag der Wonne.

Ich glaube, dass war es so weit. Ich hoffe mal, dass bald noch weitere interessante Dinge passieren...^^
